Amanda Taylor RVT, Owner/Operator

Amanda graduated from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture with an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has worked as a veterinary technician in small animal practice ever since. Amanda started her career off in Nebraska as a licensed Veterinary Tech while also volunteering for years at the Central Nebraska Humane Society. She spent 16 years at Stolley Park Veterinary Hospital where she gained extensive experience in veterinary medicine and managed their technicians. In 2017, Amanda was awarded the Outstanding Technician of the Year for the State of Nebraska. Amanda relocated to Sioux Falls and has spent the last 3 years of her career working at Horizon Pet Care in Brandon, SD. Amanda brings her wide range of technical skills to the Tail Chasers Pet Services team bringing you an elevated level of care for your pets.

Darci Golden, Co-Owner/Operator

Darci started doing at-home pet care in 2010 when she started her own business in Grand Island, NE.

Darci is a Sioux Falls native and decided to return home in 2020 to be close to family. Darci worked in the natural food and supplement industry before deciding to return to her passion for at-home pet care. Darci has had her own pets that have required a higher level of at-home care. She has experience administering medications, giving SQ injections, and doing at-home SQ fluid administration. Darci has also had to care for her own pets with food allergies which led to her making custom treats for dogs with allergies or food intolerances.
